Job Summary
Live-In Certified Nurse Aide to assist elderly/home-care clients in East Texas. Responsibilities include helping clients with personal care and hygiene, light housekeeping, encouraging exercise and fitness goals, prompting timely medication intake, assisting with shopping and groceries, planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients, and mobility/ambulation support including assistance with doctor visits and walks. Must respond quickly to medical emergencies, with competent reporting of health changes. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent time-management, reliable transportation, strong communication and interpersonal skills, familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks, ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response. Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards. Shifts offered include Full Time, Part Time, 8 Hour Shifts, 10 Hour Shifts, 12 Hour Shifts, PRN, and Short Shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
