Job Summary
Provide person-centred care in accordance with individual Care Plans, supporting clients with daily living activities, mobility, and equipment use. Prepare nutritious meals, manage household tasks including laundry and cleaning, and maintain a safe home environment. Assist with medication administration, hospital appointments, and end-of-life care while promoting social engagement through conversation and community outings. Accurately document changes in wellbeing, incidents, and communications with family and healthcare professionals. Work within a shared household with a minimum 2-week on/2-week off rotation, including a daily 2-hour break.
Required Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK
- Physically able to meet the demands of care work, including bending, lifting, stretching, kneeling, walking, stair use, and manual handling activities
- Emotionally resilient and able to manage the challenges associated with care work, including supporting clients through illness, bereavement, and complex situations
- Caring, patient, compassionate, and respectful
- Self-motivated, organised, and flexible
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider care team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong record-keeping and reporting skills
- Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Previous experience within live-in care or the wider health and social care sector
- Able to supply 2 recent employment references and 2 character references
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Satisfactory employment references
- Ability to disclose any cautions or convictions that are not protected under current legislation

- Ability to support a client living alongside their partner where required
- Relevant Care qualifications
- Ability to prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals
