Job Summary
Live-In Carer required by Home Instead to support clients in Altrincham and surrounding areas. Role involves personal care, safe moving and handling, cooking meals, dementia care, and administration of medications. Must have Live-In Carer experience, a recent DBS or be on the Update Service, and be able to provide recent professional references. Responsibilities include daily routines, partnering with health professionals to meet care needs, and maintaining professional boundaries. Training and ongoing support provided; features include holiday pay, food allowance, two-hour daily break, induction training, and access to rewards and support line. Knowledge of the Trafford area is useful; candidates must be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team. Working patterns are fortnightly, with flexible on-call and ongoing training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Recent DBS or on Update Service
- Ability to provide recent professional references
- Live-in Carer experience
- Willingness to undergo induction training
- Experience with dementia/alzheimer's
- Experience with medications and end-of-life care
