Job Summary
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and daily living activities including meal preparation and light housekeeping. Provide medication reminders, companionship, and emotional support while monitoring health changes and communicating with the care team. Accompany clients to appointments and maintain a clean living environment. Live in the client's home during scheduled shifts with consistent hours and sleeping accommodations available. Report changes in condition per individualized care plans. No experience required; training and ongoing support provided. Background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to live in the client's home during scheduled shifts
- Reliable transportation for client visits
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism
- Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Candidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with Connecticut state regulations and applicable federal law
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field preferred
