Job Summary
Provide compassionate, non-medical support to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and daily living activities including meal preparation and light housekeeping. Monitor clients' conditions, communicate with the care team, and follow individualized care plans. Accompany clients to appointments and provide companionship and emotional support. Live-in assignments offer consistent hours with sleeping accommodations during shifts. No caregiving experience required; training and ongoing support provided. Candidates must be reliable, willing to live in the client's home, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to live in the client's home during scheduled shifts
- Reliable transportation for client visits
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism
- Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers
- Candidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with Connecticut state regulations and applicable federal law
