Job Summary
Conduct daily personal care tasks including dressing, bathing, toileting, and shaving for residents with cognitive and mental health disabilities. Administer medications, prepare meals, and assist with transportation while following individual service plans. Plan community outings and social integration activities to support consumer independence. Sleep overnight on-site with on-call availability for emergency responses; weekends earn a $1.50/hr shift differential. Requires a valid driver's license, background check, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Acceptable Background Character Verification
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record for consumer transport
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to twist, turn, squat, bend, reach, pull, push from high/low position, raise arms above shoulder, walk, sit (chair and floor), climb stairs, and use hands and fingers
- Communicate basic English
- Basic reading, writing, and internet navigation skills
- Experience with adults with disabilities
- You'll be required to sleep overnight on site
- Overnights are on-call only — you're not paid unless you're woken up to assist a resident
- Must be able to respond to emergencies or resident needs if they come up overnight
