Job Summary
Provide comprehensive daily care for clients by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, oral feeding, and range of motion exercises. Manage home tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making while supporting transfers, ambulation, and vital sign checks. Remain in the client's home for each assigned 24-hour period, utilizing mechanical lifting devices as needed. Maintain an active HHA license with the New Jersey Board of Nursing and possess a valid driver's license to transport clients using their vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- One year of verifiable work experience with a Healthcare Agency, or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed)
- Successful completion of a 76 hour Home Health Aide training course (HHA Certification in New Jersey)
- Hold an ACTIVE HHA license with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
- Ability to drive client using client's vehicle with a driver's license in good standing
- Remain in the home for each 24-hour period, as assigned by clinical manager
