Hang live birds in a moving shackle on a conveyor belt about waist level. Duties include picking up birds per animal welfare guidelines, rotating positions on the live hang production line, hanging 25 birds per minute after training, operating the cage dumper, and complying with plant policies. Candidates must identify and report any suspicious situations and perform other assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and hang live birds weighing 7.0-11.00 for 100% of the workday
- Standing/walking 100% of the workday
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion
- Must be able to work in a hot and dusty environment

- 2 years live hanger experience
- High school graduate
