Job Summary
Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; Receives chickens before entering the production area; Hangs live birds in the shackles in a humane manner; Rotate in position cycle as instructed; Sorts out DOA's and leaves on belt; Understands Animal Welfare and regulatory requirements; Maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner. Production workers are required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms, regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25-40 pounds. This is a safety sensitive position within the 2nd Shift - Slaughter Plant at Bachoco OK Foods in Fort Smith, AR.
Required Qualifications
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds
- Must be able to stand for a period of time
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to reach with hands and/or arms
- Must understand Animal Welfare and regulatory requirements
- Must be available for 2nd shift (2:30 pm - EOS)
- Must be able to hang live birds in shackles in a humane manner
- Must be able to set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required
- Must be able to receive chickens before entering the production area
- Must be able to sort out DOA's (Dead on Arrival's) and leave on belt
- Must be able to rotate in position cycle as instructed
- Must be able to maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner
- Must be able to follow any and all directives set forth by Senior Management
