Job Summary
Set up and manage the Rolling Thunder grassroots marketing vehicle for local festivals, parades, and sports events, including stocking promotional items, cleaning, and routine maintenance. Mingle with fans at all grassroots events to answer inquiries about the Tampa Bay Lightning schedule, tickets, and Kids Club while tracking key performance indicators. Assist with office duties for the Marketing department and support the mascot at game days and watch parties. This part-time role requires 5-10 hours per week with a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be high-energy
- Detail-oriented
- Team players
- Flexible schedule
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be a high-energy, detail-oriented team player
- Must be able to work in a part-time capacity, for 5-10 hours per week
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Must be able to walk long distances
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language
- Must be able to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
- Must be able to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.
- Must be able to work in loud environments
- Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying weather conditions and during high-traffic event times
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Desired Qualifications
- College Students currently pursuing a degree in Sport Marketing, Sport Management or Marketing
