Job Summary
Seasonal Howl-O-Scream Scare Actor at SeaWorld San Diego. Perform spine-tingling roles across haunted houses, pathways, and stage/vignette productions with scripted dialogue and interactive guest experiences. Roles include stationary and roaming performers, MC/host, vignette characters, and specialty acts (contortionist, stilt walker, DJ). Bring energy, adaptability, and a fun, outgoing personality; collaborate with production teams and participate in exclusive events. Must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; willingness to work indoors/outdoors in varying weather and to adjust to shifting schedules around the event timeline. Prior guest-facing entertainment experience is preferred. Auditions conducted in person on specified dates at the SeaWorld San Diego hub; bring headshot, resume, and a 60-second villainous monologue tailored to desired role.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crawl, lay down, and/or jump up repeatedly for the duration of your shift
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible availability, including evenings/weekends/holidays as park operations require
