Little Farmers Per Diem Educator

Per diem Little Farmers Educator supports Cedar Circle Farm's farm-based early childhood program for ages 2-5, teaching seasonal, place-based lessons to children and caregivers. Roles include designing and delivering sensory, hands-on lessons related to food, farming, and ecology; fostering a welcoming, safe space; preparing materials; supporting class registration and rosters; and teaching indoors (Tuesdays) and/or outdoors (Sundays and Tuesdays) across January–October, with ~5 hours/week January–April and ~8 hours/week May–October. Requires experience in early childhood instruction, enthusiasm for experiential education, passion for agriculture and ecology, willingness to engage with families, and ability to teach outdoors in all weather.
