Job Summary
Prepare and electronically file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other court documents in state and federal courts. Support attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, exhibits, and overall case management. Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and other court-related websites. Manage large-scale document productions and case data using litigation support platforms such as Relativity. Cite-check, proofread, and fact-check briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents. Maintain accurate and well-organized case files in accordance with firm standards. Assist with mentoring and supporting junior paralegals, as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with +2 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of New York state and federal court rules and procedures
- Proficiency with litigation databases, electronic filing systems, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
