Job Summary
Litigation Legal Assistant for a national law firm in Downtown Los Angeles (hybrid). Responsibilities include preparation of documents, efficient workflow for duplication/printing/merging/mailing, proofreading for content and context, maintaining client and office files (electronic and paper), preparing new client/new matter forms, planning travel arrangements (transportation, car rentals, hotel), preparing expense reports and check requests, collaborating with Billing to resolve issues and process final statements, supporting clients’ electronic billing systems, daily client communication by phone or email, and scheduling meetings. Requires 5+ years of litigation experience, State and Federal e-filing experience, knowledge of litigation procedures, strong document processing and project management, calendaring and docketing, and experience with document management systems; proficiency with Word and Outlook is needed.

- 5+ years recent litigation experience
- State and Federal e-filing experience
- Experience with litigation procedures and processes
- Strong document processing and project management skills
- Calendaring and docketing experience
- Experience with a document management system is preferred
- Redlining experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
