Job Summary
Litigation paralegal with asbestos defense focus supporting large case teams; manage multiple litigation dockets; operate in databases for case tracking and document discovery; assist in preparation of responsive and dispositive pleadings; conduct fact research; assist with document collection, processing and production; assist with preparation for depositions, filings, hearings, trial and post-trial appeal; attendance at trial, hearings and court proceedings; proficiency with MS Office and litigation databases (ProLaw, Everlaw, Relativity); strong organizational and interpersonal skills; requires a bachelor\'s degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate and a minimum of 4 years of law firm experience; annualized pay range for this role is approximately $62,000 to $75,000 based on 37.50 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of law firm experience
- Experience with ProLaw, Everlaw, Relativity
- Strong MS Office proficiency and document management skills
- Ability to manage multiple litigation dockets and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of legal terminology and principles
- Experience supporting deposition, filings, hearings, and trial preparation
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
