Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary
Support litigation teams by preparing, filing, and serving papers for court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials. Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, and discovery materials while performing manual and electronic document searches. Coordinate medical record retrievals, prepare chronologies, subpoenas, and trial notebooks, and manage databases for case and document tracking. Assist attorneys at trial, handle deposition logistics, and oversee vendor services. Work with software platforms such as iManage, Relativity, and TextMap to track discovery requests and meet billable hour requirements. This role requires five years of experience and involves extensive travel, weekends, and holidays as needed by case teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five years of experience
- Experience with document review platforms, such as Relativity and TextMap
- Experience in trial preparation and general trial support
- Fundamental proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Excellent discipline and organizational, planning, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multitask and successfully manage a variety of demands daily from a variety of sources
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work a project independently and shows initiative in asking questions when needed
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
- Willing to work in office as needed by case teams
- Committed to work outside of normal business hours and travel as needed, which may be extensive and include weekends or holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with retrieval of medical records from providers and preparing medical chronologies
