Job Summary
Litigation Paralegal supports attorneys in personal injury cases, assisting with case preparation for trial and ongoing factual investigation. Responsibilities include maintaining the attorney’s calendar, scheduling depositions and hearings, managing documents and e-filing in Florida and federal courts, drafting court documents (pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas), coordinating with clients and parties via email or mail, and setting up remote proceedings (Court Call/Zoom) as needed. Requires 2+ years of litigation experience, proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe, strong organization, and the ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of litigation experience
- Experience with the discovery process
- Experience e-filing in state and federal courts a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently
- Possess excellent organization skills and be able to multitask and prioritize workload
- Team-oriented
