Job Summary
Manage case files, deadlines, and docketing while drafting, organizing, and filing pleadings, discovery, and correspondence for a varied civil litigation caseload. Coordinate document production, subpoenas, and depositions, then assist with hearings, mediations, and trial preparation. Ensure all electronic filings comply with Washington court rules and maintain accurate, organized case files. Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and experts. Track and record billable time throughout the process.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of paralegal litigation experience
- Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and deadlines
- Experience with Washington court rules, e-filing, calendaring, and docket management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple active matters and competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and professional judgment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with complex commercial, property-related, construction, or probate matters
