Job Summary
Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including case preparation, discovery management, and trial readiness. Maintain and monitor court deadlines, prepare and file documents through ECF, and conduct legal research using PACER and Westlaw. Draft pleadings, notices, and motions while organizing deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries. Track document productions and assist with deposition coordination, communicating with courts, outside counsel, clients, and experts. Contribute to case strategy meetings and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Requires 5+ years of litigation experience, e-filing proficiency, and an associate's or bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm
- exposure to toxic tort, product liability, or complex litigation matters
- Experience with e-filing (ECF)
- Experience with PACER
- Experience with Westlaw
- experience managing discovery
- experience managing trial preparation
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- paralegal certificate
