Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary
Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and memoranda; e-file court documents in state and federal courts; conduct legal research and factual investigations; and coordinate depositions and trial binders. Draft and serve summons, maintain discovery indexes, and organize exhibits and evidence. Liaise between trial teams and third parties, aid attorneys with discovery requests, help with witness preparation, and assist with case settlements. Work closely with a lead attorney and litigation assistant in a fast-paced environment. This role is on-site at Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury firm dedicated to consumer rights.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of working experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
- Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as attention to detail
- This role is on-site
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred)
- Experience in Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Premises, First Party, Medical Malpractice or other injury related practice areas (preferred)
