Job Summary
Support all phases of litigation including preliminary investigation and research, discovery, pretrial and trial. Manage, organize, and maintain litigation related files. Use legal research platforms and databases to gather case and docket information. Collaborate with outside counsel on collection, preparation, and production of documents. Assist with calendaring and tracking case deadlines. Create and customize spreadsheets for collection and tracking of records and data. Coordinate with outside counsel, witnesses, and experts on various matters. Manage legal spend and case budgets. Focus primarily on e-discovery and IP litigation support.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in law or related field (paralegal studies certificate is a plus)
- 3-5 years’ experience supporting attorneys
- Experience in patent litigation or patent-related administrative proceedings is a plus
