Job Summary

Review initial file materials, add rules sets and dockets, and manage client guidelines with attorney supervision. Prepare Civil Summons, serve process, and coordinate document production at least five days before due dates. Monitor service perfection, confirm answer due dates, and summarize witness or client interviews. Draft deposition subpoenas, prepare discovery responses, and organize medical chronologies. Assist in preparation for depositions, mediations, and trial; prepare settlement documents and follow up on executed filings. Handle incoming mail, request records, and perform other billable tasks as needed. Join the Richmond office of a technology-driven firm offering flexible work arrangements and competitive compensation.

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year degree and/or certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program
  • 1–3 years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities efficiently
