Job Summary
Support attorneys throughout all phases of labor and employment litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, arbitrations, and trial. Prepare, organize, and file documents with federal and state courts and administrative agencies via PACER/ECF. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery requests, and subpoenas, and finalize briefs with cite-checking and formatting. Manage case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines while coordinating document collection, review, and production. Provide support on traditional labor matters before the NLRB and assist with arbitration-related matters, including researching panels and preparing witness binders. Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors. Manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Paralegal Certificate
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Working knowledge of federal and state court filing procedures and rules
- Experience supporting employment-related discovery
- Strong research skills
