Job Summary
Litigation Paralegal at a plaintiff boutique law firm in Boca Raton. Manages high-volume personal injury and medical malpractice matters from intake through settlement or trial; drafts complaints, discovery requests/responses, motions, subpoenas, settlement demands, and trial exhibits; handles pre-suit tasks such as medical records requests and organizing case files; assists attorneys with litigation tasks including calendaring deadlines, filing in state courts, scheduling depositions, hearings, and mediations; serves as primary client contact with exceptional client service; assists with trial prep including exhibit binders and witness lists; maintains case management systems, tracks deadlines, and coordinates collaboration with attorneys, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel. Requires 5+ years PI/medical malpractice paralegal experience, in-depth knowledge of Florida civil procedure, ability to work onsite in Boca Raton, and proficiency with case management software.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Paralegal experience in a plaintiff law firm required
- Strong understanding of Florida civil procedure, litigation process, and trial preparation
- Experience handling cases independently from pre-suit through litigation
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload
- Proficiency in case management software
- Excellent communication skills with a strong client-service mindset
- Ability to work fully onsite Monday–Friday in Boca Raton, FL (no remote/hybrid)
