Job Summary
Obtain, review, and analyze medical, financial, employment, tax, and other relevant records. Prepare detailed medical and factual chronologies, trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness materials. Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files while compiling evidence from discovery, records, transcripts, and databases. Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses. Generate case status reports, logs, and indexes. Conduct legal and medical research and review expert materials, including prior testimony and publications. Assist attorneys with trial preparation and other litigation support needs. This role supports the defense litigation team at Wade Clark Mulcahy LLP's West Palm Beach office, offering a hybrid work schedule and competitive compensation with a 401(k) plan.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree required
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of civil defense litigation experience preferred
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
