Job Summary
Litigation Paralegal supporting a California-based law firm's litigation lifecycle from case inception through discovery, trial, post-trial proceedings, and case closure. Role includes managing assigned cases, assisting with client document collection and witness interviews, propounding discovery, document review and production, case-file preparation, and trial support. Requires complex wage and hour analyses in Excel, deposition/trial preparation, and strong proficiency with e-filing. Preferred is a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of substantive litigation experience and knowledge of CA state and federal court rules; experience with employment/wage & hour litigation is a plus. Hybrid work arrangement available in Downtown Los Angeles or Orange County offices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of substantive litigation experience
- Must meet California Business & Professional Code §6450 requirements
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules
- E-filing experience in state and federal courts
- Proficiency in e-discovery and litigation support tools such as CaseMap, Ipro, and Relativity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
