Litigation Paralegal - Employment Law

Job Summary
Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. Interface with Administrative Agencies, including EEOC, and E-file court documents in federal and state court. Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Draft and serve summons. Coordinate depositions, prepare deposition and hearing binders and exhibits. Drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court. Interfacing with clients to keep them apprised of the status of their case and to obtain documents needed for discovery. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Liaise between the attorneys and internal/external third parties, including co-counsel, counsel for defendants, and the courts. This role is in-office 5 days per week with no flexibility to be hybrid or remote.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of working experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- This role is in-office 5 days per week with no flexibility to be hybrid or remote
- Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program
Desired Qualifications
- General Litigation Experience, preferably in federal court
