Job Summary
Draft pleadings, motions, and orders; electronically file pleadings; prepare responses to discovery demands; and manage client communication. Conduct trial preparation while handling a heavy case load to ensure deadlines are met. This role requires 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation, with a Paralegal Certificate or minimum 2-year College Degree. Candidates must demonstrate excellent legal writing skills, an analytical mindset, and proficiency using Microsoft Word. A polished, articulate individual capable of interfacing with various clients is strongly preferred. Hybrid schedule offered after training: work 1 day a week from home.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of litigation experience
- Paralegal Certificate or minimum 2-year College Degree in a related field
- Excellent legal writing skills
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction
