Job Summary

Independently manage litigation cases from inception through post-judgment proceedings, handling eDiscovery, document review, and privilege logging on platforms like Relativity, Everlaw, or DISCO. Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions while conducting legal research and cite-checking briefs. Coordinate trial preparation including exhibits, witness lists, and calendars, utilizing AI-assisted review and generative drafting tools under attorney oversight. Supervise junior paralegals and meet a 1,500-hour annual billable requirement. This role supports the firm's Special District, Municipal, and Civil Litigation practices for public agencies, businesses, and individuals across the U.S.

Required Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. degree
  • paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • qualifying work experience under California Business & Professions Code §§6450–6456
  • minimum of seven years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Strong eDiscovery skills
  • AI-tool familiarity
  • organizational skills
  • communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel on short notice
  • meeting a 1,500-hour annual billable requirement
