Job Summary
Prepare and revise documents for timekeepers, including drafts, redlining, and proofreading. Draft pleading and discovery documents, arrange court filings, and electronically file documents with applicable jurisdictions. Create and maintain electronic files in iManage and Outlook, coordinate court reporters for depositions, and assist with exhibit preparations. Process invoices, submit expense reports, and maintain timekeepers' calendars while resolving scheduling conflicts. Schedule client and internal meetings, communicate with the docket department, and perform legal research as requested. Maintain timekeepers' CLE credits, bar admissions, and travel arrangements. Use the CRM tool to support business development and mentor practice team assistants.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of administrative support experience in a law firm or legal department, preferably specializing in litigation practice
- exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications
- Bachelor's degree or business college certificate
