Job Summary
Litigation-focused administrative and litigation-support professional role in a national law firm’s Troy, MI office. Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys and paralegals, including preparing and proofreading legal documents, managing court filings in state and federal courts, coordinating attorney calendars (meetings, depositions, travel), handling intake and engagement documentation, maintaining case files in document management systems, routing communications, time entry, and assisting with billing and expenses. Requires strong knowledge of court filing procedures, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Hybrid work arrangement with a mix of in-office and remote work and a focus on organized, detail-oriented support across multiple deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of legal administrative or litigation support experience
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures (including e-filing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with legal and document management systems
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading ability
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High level of confidentiality and discretion
