Job Summary
Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant in Seattle: provide high-level admin support to attorneys in the Litigation Practice Group; manage attorneys’ schedules, meetings, travel, and correspondence; draft and file legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery, trial briefs); maintain and organize case files; coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts for depositions and interviews; monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules; proficiency in MS Office and document management with strong proofreading and communication skills; requires 3–5 years of litigation support experience and knowledge of Washington court procedures; hybrid on-site/remote schedule in Seattle after training.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant or in a similar administrative role within a litigation environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of Washington court procedures, including state, federal, and appellate levels, with emphasis on e-filing
- Proficiency in legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, OneNote, Outlook) and document management systems
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
