Job Summary
Conduct preliminary analysis and research regarding new litigation matters, including deadlines, dispute nature, and scope of legal assistance. Assist in intake, creation, summary, and assignment of lawsuits, demands, and counseling matters while retrieving, processing, and distributing legal documents. Maintain electronic files via TyMetrix, iManage, and CT Corp databases, respond to third-party information requests, and support annual budget preparation and expense tracking. Create presentations and documents using Microsoft Office tools, liaise with corporate function teams, and contribute to process improvements. Work a hybrid schedule with in-office requirements Monday through Wednesday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Intent to apply to law school for the 2028 school year
- Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superb organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work in a complex culture
- Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and open to new learning opportunities
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and self-starter attitude with a strong sense of urgency and dedicated work ethic
- We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday
