Job Summary
Litigation Counsel – Employment and Commercial Litigation leading employment-related and complex commercial disputes in a senior, judgment-driven role. Based in Houston/Spring, TX or Vancouver, WA with a hybrid schedule requiring three days in the office. Responsible for leading matters from pre-litigation through resolution, handling class/collective actions and high-risk individual claims, directing outside counsel, managing litigation budgets, advising business and legal stakeholders, and partnering cross-functionally with Employment, HR, Compliance, and business teams to manage risk and strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction or ability to practice in the role’s location through in-house registration
- Strong grounding in U.S. employment law, including experience with class, collective, and representative actions
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex litigation matters independently
- Experience in commercial litigation and exposure to government investigations
- Experience managing outside counsel and litigation budgets
