Job Summary
Lead employment and complex commercial litigation matters as a senior Litigation Counsel, driving strategy, risk assessment, and outcomes across pre-litigation, discovery, dispositive motions, and resolution. Manages outside counsel, budgets, and reserves; partners with Employment, HR, Compliance, and business teams to advise leaders on litigation risk and business impact; operates as lead lawyer on assigned matters with autonomy and cross-functional collaboration. Roles are based in Houston/Spring, TX or Vancouver, WA with a hybrid schedule (in-office three days per week).
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Strong grounding in U.S. employment law, including class/collective/representative actions
- Experience leading complex litigation matters independently
- Experience in commercial litigation and exposure to government investigations
- Experience managing outside counsel and litigation budgets
- Comfort advising business partners and senior stakeholders
- In-house litigation management experience (preferred)
- Experience advising on litigation risk, settlement posture, and trial exposure
