Job Summary
Manage sophisticated civil litigation matters from case inception through resolution, developing strategies aligned with client business objectives. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents while conducting legal research and providing strategic analysis. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and negotiations, maintaining strong relationships through proactive communication. Collaborate across practice areas and mentor junior attorneys within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. This role offers significant autonomy for experienced counsel to independently handle cases, supported by advanced legal technology and resources. Candidates must be licensed in Alabama with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active Alabama Bar license or ability to obtain admission
- 4+ years of civil litigation experience
- Experience independently handling cases from start to finish
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Courtroom, mediation, and negotiation experience
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
