Job Summary
Manage a litigation caseload with increasing independence by conducting legal research, developing case strategies, and drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents. Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials while collaborating with attorneys and legal support staff to achieve outstanding client outcomes. Communicate with clients regarding litigation strategy, case developments, and recommendations, and maintain organized case files while meeting litigation deadlines. This remote-first role within the California Bay Area requires an active California Bar license and at least one year of litigation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Active California Bar license
- 1+ year of litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
- Must reside in or relocate to the California Bay Area
