Job Summary
Draft Case Management Orders, organize and analyze case information, and provide reports to carriers. Propound and respond to written discovery, draft laws and motions, and coordinate with clients and experts. Attend site inspections, take and defend depositions including experts, and prepare for all phases of trial, with opportunities for first and second-chair trial experience. This role requires active California State Bar membership, independent work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical, writing, and research skills. Required Qualifications
- minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Prior insurance defense experience
- Be an active member of the California State Bar in good standing
- Have excellent analytical, writing, and research skills
- Be able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Be able to work in a team setting
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to commute to Los Angeles, surrounding counties, and on occasion to central and northern California for court appearances and depositions
