Job Summary
Conduct high-quality legal work independently, including drafting complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery. Take and defend key depositions, argue motions in court, handle mediation, and manage hearings. Consult with Partners to set case strategy and goals, then implement and execute the plan. Manage case docketing and drive business development through outreach to potential referring counsel and clients. Generate firm marketing materials and handle press inquiries as appropriate. Requires 4-9+ years of business litigation experience, good standing with the State Bar, and top-notch writing skills. Hybrid schedule with flexible hours in Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- 4-9+ years Business Litigation Experience
- Good standing with State Bar of CA (or State Bar of NY)
- Self-starter and team player

- Drive to Run your own Docket of Cases
- Drafting complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Take & defend depositions, argue motions in court, handle mediation, examine
Desired Qualifications
- Big Firm experience (preferred)
- Top 20 Law School (preferred)
- Experience in trial (if not 1st chair, 2nd)
