Job Summary
Litigation Attorney licensed in Illinois to join our firm and handle foreclosure, eviction, and bankruptcy matters. Responsibilities include reviewing and signing pleadings and legal documents, drafting filings, conducting legal research, and appearing in state courts. The role requires 3–5 years of commercial litigation or creditors’ rights experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a deadline-driven environment. Ideal candidates will be proficient in Illinois civil procedure and evidentiary rules, familiar with foreclosure-related statutes, able to independently advocate in court, and committed to client service and professional judgment. Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Bar license in good standing
- 3–5 years of commercial litigation and/or creditors' rights experience
- Experience handling contested hearings, trials, and dispositive motions
- Ability to independently appear and advocate in state court
- Strong understanding of Illinois civil procedure and evidentiary rules
- Familiarity with statutes related to foreclosure, loss mitigation, and consumer defenses
- Ability to manage a high‐volume caseload
- Compliance with client, court, and regulatory deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience advising institutional clients on risk and strategy
- Sound professional judgment in fast-paced environments
