Job Summary
Handle assigned cases from inception to trial, delivering strategic legal insights and designing custom courses of action for clients. Draft discovery, motions, and legal documents while conducting legal research and managing client representation from initial meetings through trial. Cover all in-person events including trials, hearings, mediations, and depositions across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties on a hybrid schedule. The firm offers a cooperative environment with support staff assistance for drafting and scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of litigation and trial experience
- Must open and willing to learning the area of family law
- Must have the confidence and ability to handle all aspects of client representation from initial meeting through trial
- Must be experienced in drafting discovery, motions, and legal document
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have strong legal research skills
- Must be proactive and invested in personal growth as well as the growth of the firm
Desired Qualifications
- prior civil litigation, commercial litigation, state attorney or public defender experience
- family law experience
- Bilingual Spanish
- mediation experience
