Job Summary
Conduct legal research and analysis, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, and attend hearings, depositions, and mediations. Work closely with partners and senior associates on case strategy and preparation while communicating with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel. Manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Requires a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, admission to the California state bar, and 1-3 years of experience in civil liability defense. Billable hour requirement is 1900 per year with a salary range of $100,000-$130,000.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the California state bar
- 1-3 years of experience in general civil liability, construction defect, and/or insurance defense
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
