Job Summary
Manage cases from inception through trial by drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda. Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations while performing legal research to support litigation strategy. Handle multiple active litigation files and deadlines, preparing for and assisting with trial and appellate proceedings. Communicate regularly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. This role offers direct exposure to high-value matters involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, transportation accidents, and insurance coverage issues in both state and federal courts.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active and in good standing with the Georgia Bar
- 3–5 years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking
