Job Summary
Conduct employment defense litigation, restrictive covenant disputes, and general business litigation while providing employment and business counseling. Manage related transactional work with direct client contact across a collaborative team environment. Support the employment and business law group while interacting regularly with practice areas including government contracts, intellectual property, and corporate law. Deliver timely, high-quality work product as a junior associate with 2-4 years of civil litigation experience. Maintain current Virginia bar membership in good standing with no disciplinary history.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of civil litigation experience
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to consistently deliver timely, high-quality work product
- Fast learner with the aptitude to build subject-matter expertise
- Comfortable in a team-oriented culture
- Current member of the Virginia bar in good standing, with no disciplinary history
Desired Qualifications
- Judicial clerkship experience preferred
