Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Summary
Independently manage a diverse caseload of business and general liability litigation matters from inception through resolution, appearing regularly in court conferences, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions. Lead all aspects of litigation strategy by drafting pleadings, responding to written discovery, preparing motions, negotiating settlements, and coaching witnesses for trial. Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients and insurers, providing regular case updates, strategic assessments, and litigation plans while delivering sound legal advice throughout the matter lifecycle. Requires a J.D., active Ohio Bar license, and 4-6 years of civil litigation experience. Full benefits including 401k, health care, and paid time off are available.
Required Qualifications
- Associate with 4-6 years of experience handling civil litigation matters
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license in good standing with the Ohio Bar
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure cases and manage complex litigation matters
- Commitment to client service and ethical legal practice
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic
