Job Summary
Litigation Assistant needed to support attorneys with day-to-day litigation tasks in a fast-paced personal injury practice. Responsibilities include drafting and proofreading pleadings and legal correspondence under attorney supervision; preparing and tracking discovery requests, subpoenas, and related deadlines; organizing case files and supporting materials; scheduling hearings, depositions, and other litigation events; gathering and reviewing records and evidence; assisting in case preparation for depositions, mediations, and trial; and performing general administrative tasks. Requires an associate’s degree, paralegal certificate, or bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 1+ year of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems (e.g., Filevine, Clio) is preferred. This position is fully on-site; remote or hybrid work is not available. Salary range is $25.00-$30.00 hourly (annualized to $52,000–$62,400).
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, paralegal certificate, or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience as a litigation assistant, legal assistant, or in a legal administrative role
- Experience in personal Injury, workers’ compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with litigation processes, including discovery, court filings, and case management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management systems (e.g., Filevine, Clio, or similar) preferred
