Job Summary
Litigation Assistant responsible for supporting lead attorney and litigation paralegal with calendar management, file organization, pleadings and discovery indexing, exhibits and evidence handling, process improvements, client and witness coordination, document management, billing support, and travel arrangements. Emphasizes strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills, on-site collaboration, and comprehensive document control to assist in preparing reports, case files, and legal advice.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s Degree, or a Paralegal Certificate (preferred)
- Experience in Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Premises, First Party or other injury related practice areas (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills
- This role is on-site, which gives you the chance to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team. We’ve found that being in the office helps new team members get up to speed quickly and feel more connected.
