Job Summary
Litigation Administrator for John Deere Financial, offering remote work with preference for onsite in Johnston, IA. Responsible for researching and directing strategic objectives on incoming litigation accounts, leveraging market and financial product knowledge, equipment valuations, and customer/channel scenarios to execute litigation strategies across U.S. JDF financial products. Works with bankruptcy, replevin, and other matters, employing mediation, lawsuits, bankruptcy restructuring, and workout remedies to mitigate financial loss. Collaborates with local and in-house counsel, dealers, sales personnel, and management; reviews and signs legal documents; participates in mediations, depositions, and hearings; communicates legal spend, strategy, market trends, and dealer feedback; evaluates local counsel performance and ensures compliance with standards. Requires independent and collaborative work, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 10%. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related discipline. Visa sponsorship not available. Education and experience requirements emphasize analytical, negotiation, and risk assessment capabilities with a focus on bankruptcy and repossession-related matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience with analytics, negotiation, and conflict resolution
- 3+ years of experience changing work activities quickly while maintaining attention to detail
- 3+ years of experience making reasoned business decisions and assessing risk in a timely manner
- Self-motivated, team-oriented relationship builder capable of collaborating with stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%
