Job Summary
Lithuanian Language Instructor needed at ICLS in Washington, DC to teach adult professionals in-person across a range of proficiency levels. Responsibilities include delivering Lithuanian instruction to private students and small groups with variable full/part-time assignments. Requires at least two years of experience teaching Lithuanian to adults in a full-time setting and native-level proficiency. A bachelor’s degree is required, with preferred postgraduate study in teaching, SLA, or related fields. Candidates should submit a cover letter detailing earliest availability and teaching experience; equal opportunity employer. Knowledge of ILR scale, curriculum development, DoD/Foreign Service proficiency testing familiarity, and Educational Technology tools are beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Lithuanian to adults in a full-time setting
- Native-level proficiency in Lithuanian
- Possess at minimum a bachelor’s degree
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States
