Job Summary
Assist with literacy assessments and implement intervention plans in small group or one-on-one settings for elementary students under certified teacher direction. Meticulously monitor student progress and collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure alignment with curriculum goals within the Title I program. This hourly position supports Tier 1, 2, and 3 literacy needs during the school year, with travel between district buildings required at times. Reports to the Building Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Maine DOE Certification - Ed Tech III
- experience working with elementary-aged students
- demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental literacy concepts
- Travel between schools or district buildings may be required at times
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
